Chris Wong

Chris Wong is a Partner in the company’s Dallas office, and specializes in Industrial Outdoor Storage (IOS) transactions. Chris previously served in a unique dual role as a prolific broker on the industrial and land sides of the business with Bradford Commercial Real Estate, as well as Real Estate and Tax Director at Austin Industries, a leading national construction company, where he oversaw the Real Estate department. Chris has consistently ranked among the top IOS brokers in the last 3 years with $375 million in IOS transaction volume, across 1.75 million SF, and 590 Acres. He began his career as a Tax Associate on the Mergers & Acquisitions team at Deloitte & Touche, where he focused on tax implications for company spinoffs, sales, mergers & acquisitions. Chris learned about real estate development during his time at Hillwood, where he worked alongside the Corporate Tax team as well as the Perot family. He joined Austin Industries almost 10 years ago, working his way up from Tax Manager to creating Austin’s real estate team directing the company’s real estate decisions, including acquisitions, dispositions, leasing, and in-house property management.
