Sue Nelson is a Managing Director with Newmark’s Roseville office. Watching the tremendous population growth in the Sacramento region and the associated growth of the health care industry, Nelson identified a need for a health care services property specialist. Focusing on this market niche, she has developed a specialized set of resources and solutions that address the unique and complex needs of tenants, landlords and investors in this arena. After a highly successful career in the Silicon Valley high-tech industry, Nelson’s commercial real estate career began at CBRE in 2003, where she began focusing on the sale of single-tenant, net-leased investment properties. Nelson has served as a member of the board of directors for the Sacramento Medical Group Management Association, has been actively involved in the Sacramento District Dental Society, and has been a member of the American Heart Association’s Executive Leadership Committee. Nelson’s involvement in the Rocklin Chamber of Commerce has included roles as chairperson of the Economic Development Committee, co-chair of Relay for Life activities, member of the Business and Education Committee and member of the Downtown Committee. She has also served as a board member for the Rocklin Education Excellence Foundation.
