Marc Ayala represents landlords, investors, and business owners in the leasing and sale of shopping centers, retail buildings, and net leased assets. He specializes in maximizing asset performance through strategic leasing, targeted marketing, tenant sourcing, lease negotiations, and investment advisory. Over the course of his career, Marc has negotiated more than $30 million in lease value on behalf of landlords, helping increase occupancy, strengthen tenant mixes, and enhance the long-term value of retail properties. Through strategic leasing and repositioning efforts, he has helped shopping center owners improve the overall valuation and marketability of their assets. Prior to founding Equite REIS, Marc was an Associate at Marcus & Millichap, specializing in retail investment sales. Before transitioning into brokerage, he served as a Senior Analyst, where he valued more than $400 million in retail assets and supported transactions totaling more than $280 million. Marc focuses on delivering results through a hands-on approach, combining market knowledge, data-driven analysis, and proactive outreach to connect landlords with high-quality tenants and maximize investment performance.
