Justin Smith is a Senior Vice President at Lee & Associates, North America’s largest broker-owned commercial real estate firm, where he leads national and international industrial real estate strategy for fast-scaling companies and institutional investors. Over the past 20+ years, he’s closed more than 700 transactions totaling $700M and 10 million square feet. As an SIOR designee and part of Lee & Associates Corporate Solutions practice, Justin partners with multi-market clients like Berger Transfer & Storage, Beyond Distribution, Textron, Volt Workforce Solutions, and Tri-West to deliver customized portfolio strategies, workplace innovation, and transaction execution across markets. He also represents landlords and developers in leasing and capital markets transactions, bridging tenant needs with investor returns. Beyond brokerage, Justin is an active investor himself—personally acquiring industrial properties and investing as a limited partner in deals with top operators across the country. His experience on both sides of the table gives him a unique edge in understanding how to create, preserve, and grow value in every deal. A thought leader in the industrial space, Justin is the author of Industrial Intelligence and Industrial Income—essential reads for tenants and owners navigating the evolving logistics landscape. His upcoming book, Industrial Investment, dives deep into helping investors find, fund, and scale winning industrial deals. Justin holds Master’s degrees in Real Estate Development and Business Administration from USC and is currently pursuing a third in Supply Chain Management from the University of Arkansas, where he is mastering network optimization and supply chain modeling to better serve logistics-driven occupiers.
