Jonathan Squires is a Managing Director in Capital Markets at Cushman & Wakefield, where he advises clients across all five boroughs of New York City. Jonathan has been active in the New York City real estate market since 2001. He began his career acquiring and leasing commercial properties for the family office of Bradford N. Swett (now BNS Real Estate). He later founded Squires & Company, Inc., where he worked as an asset manager, broker, and advisor to family offices, institutional investors, and the Supreme Court of New York State. Over the past 25 years, Jonathan has been involved in thousands of transactions across the city, with a reputation for approaching real estate from multiple angles—operator, fiduciary, strategist. He has been quoted in The New York Times, Financial Times, Commercial Observer, The Real Deal, Real Estate Weekly, and The New York Post. Raised in Boulder, Colorado, Jonathan now lives in a Harlem brownstone and spends weekends at a farmhouse in Hudson, NY with his wife, daughter, and two French bulldogs. Occasionally, he even finds time to play golf.
