Gilbert Valdez, SIOR

As Managing Director in Cushman & Wakefield’s Industrial Services Group, Gilbert specializes in sourcing and disposition of land/facilities, tenant representation, built-to-suits and other mission critical operational objectives involving real estate assets. Gilbert has completed large transactions with great companies not limited to Duracell, Owens Corning, PVH, Microsoft, Petco, BRINKS, Iron Mountain, Kroger, Stericycle, VROOM and Pratt Industries. Gilbert’s career has focused on accomplishing the operational goals of his clients through real estate. Most of his assignments are multi-faceted involving labor analytics, supply chain and a thorough understanding of the strategic objectives of his client. His expertise includes solving problems, financial analysis, site selection, market dynamics, and negotiating. Gilbert brings an in depth understanding of the priorities of investors as it relates to large complex deals that include multiple stakeholders from different levels of the capital stack. His work ethic, integrity, and knowledge align him with his clients’ business objectives making him an integral part of their decision-making process. Prior to Cushman and Wakefield, Gilbert worked with JLL's industrial team. Before industrial real estate he enjoyed an eleven-year career in the field of institutional investment management focusing on derivative/commodity trading and management.
