Derek Carroll

Derek Carroll joined NAI Alliance in 2018 as an intern and subsequently joined the company as a full-time member of the office and industrial team. Derek now specializes in industrial leasing and sales. He is outstanding at tracking the market and utilizing the leading tools to maximize the value of real estate for his clients. He obtained his Society of Industrial and Office Realtors (SIOR) designation in 2024 and became a Certified Commercial Investment Member (CCIM) in 2023. He is an active board member of the CCIM local Northern Nevada chapter. Derek started his commercial real estate career in 2017 with Tolles Development Company where he assisted with office leasing, construction, and investment sales. Prior to real estate, Derek started his professional career in 2014 with Martin Brothers Construction, a heavy civil construction company. In this 2-year internship, he became proficient in reading and estimating government construction projects in the city of Sacramento. Derek has leveraged this experience to obtain his (C-3) Carpentry Contracting License to better serve his clients with tenant improvements. Derek grew up in Elk Grove, CA and attended the University of Nevada, Reno. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Finance and earned his real estate license in 2018. In his time away from real estate, Derek enjoys spending time with his fiancée, Giana, and their golden retriever, Rufus. He also enjoys woodworking and going to music festivals.
