Dan Marquardt

Dan Marquardt is broker-in-charge and sole proprietor of The Marquardt Group, LLC, a company he founded in 2010. Within the year, he listed and leased 180,000 square feet of properties spanning multiple counties and various sectors, including raw land, Class A office, retail, flex and warehouse spaces. Currently, he is focusing on growing the investment and sales side of the business through a dedication to hard work and a robust network. He is a client-focused, general commercial real estate broker. Marquardt keeps his clients informed and up-to-date throughout each and every transaction by only accepting a manageable number of clients and properties at any given time. Prior to embarking on his own venture, Marquardt worked as a broker for NAI Carolantic Realty and as a site mechanical engineer for IBM. He says that his native Ohio is a good place to be from, but North Carolina has been home since 2000. He is an active participant in Rotary, Habitat for Humanity, St. Michael’s Episcopal Church and a number of professional organizations. He has an entrepreneurial spirit with a knack for connecting the right people at the right time. He received an MBA from Kenan Flagler Business School at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and a bachelor of science in mechanical engineering from Purdue University. Marquardt is a licensed pilot, an avid skier and enjoys traveling with his wife, Jessica.
