ABOUT

Zach Zalben is a third generation native of Los Angeles. During his teenage years, he spent his summers working at Black Equities. Throughout college, Zach continued to work part-time at Black Equities which helped to rapidly grow his knowledge of the real estate business. A graduate of Loyola Marymount University with a BA in Urban Studies, Zach has truly applied his education to many aspects of his work. From a young age, Zach has been active in his community as well as philanthropic endeavors. He devotes much of his spare time to many charitable organizations. Zach serves on the board of Beverly Hills Temple of the Arts and Friends of the Israel Defense Forces (FIDF) for which he is currently Chairman of the Los Angeles Young Leadership. As a Board Member/Director at The Stanley & Joyce Black Family Foundation, he is dedicated to supporting many organizations that are helping to change the world for the better. Today, Zach oversees management of the firm, including finance, acquisitions, dispositions, and securities investments. In addition, he leads Black Equities’ focus on new real estate developments. Excited about cities both as centers of commerce and healthy living environments, Zach is actively looking to acquire centrally located commercial, industrial and residential properties in Los Angeles and other major cities across the United States, that bring together communities and promote business.
