Yann Charles is Executive Vice President within Avison Young’s Québec Capital Markets Team. In this role, he is responsible for the origination and execution of major retail and industrial investment transactions across the Greater Montréal Area and Québec. Prior to joining Avison Young in March of 2023, Yann began his career in commercial real estate in 2012 and launched a retail investment advisory service in 2016 at JLL. He has since closed $1.5 billion in investment transactions, representing both private and institutional owners of commercial real estate. He has established long-standing relationships with major owners, including Cominar, Canderel, Skyline REIT, Fiera, Canadian Net REIT, Choice REIT, and Manulife, and is known for his determination, resilience, and follow-through.
