Whitfield Hamilton manages development operations in the Southeastern and Mid-Atlantic Regions of the United States for Panattoni Development Company. He oversees active offices throughout the region and has current projects in Miami, Tampa, Orlando, Atlanta, Nashville, Memphis, Richmond, Norfolk, Little Rock, South Carolina, Kentucky, and Mississippi. Whitfield has served as Regional Partner of the Eastern U.S. and Southeast U.S. regions since 2005, and has developed over 70 million SF of industrial, office, and retail projects in 10 states. Prior to joining Panattoni Development Company, Whitfield was employed at Colliers where he specialized in the leasing and sale of user and investment transactions of industrial and office properties in the central United States. Whitfield focused on capital placements concentrating on the central region of the U.S. He has completed over $1 billion in brokerage and $2 billion in development transactions throughout his career and served as Managing Principal for the Tennessee office, and the Executive Committee and Board of Colliers. Prior to joining Colliers, Whitfield worked with a Nashville based development firm, and served in the United States Marine Corps. He has been in the commercial real estate business for 30+ years. Whitfield is a member of Society of Office and Industrial REALTORS (SIOR), the National Association of Industrial and Office Properties (NAIOP), Urban Land Institute (ULI) and is a Trustee of the Nature Conservancy. He is also a past Board Member of United Way, Leadership Middle Tennessee and Celtic Concepts, USA. He also taught Sunday school for a number of years.
