Wes Christensen specializes exclusively in the sale and acquisition of economy, midscale, and upscale hospitality assets across the Intermountain West. With a proven track record of successfully brokering 85 hotel transactions, Wes has extensive expertise in facilitating the acquisition and disposition of limited-service, select-service, full-service, and extended-stay properties. He has worked with some of the industry’s most respected hospitality brands, including Marriott, Hilton, IHG, Choice, Best Western, and Wyndham. Throughout his career, Wes has represented a diverse clientele, including owner/operators, private investors, banks, private equity groups, and family offices. Before joining Mountain West Commercial, Wes held senior leadership roles within the National Hospitality Group at a leading national real estate brokerage, focusing on hospitality transactions and client success. Wes holds a Master’s Degree in Real Estate Development from the University of Utah and a Certificate in Hotel Real Estate Investments from Cornell University. He is a Certified Commercial Investment Member (CCIM) and previously served as President of the Utah CCIM Chapter. Wes has also shared his expertise as a guest lecturer on hospitality market analysis at the University of Utah and Utah Valley University. Outside of work, Wes enjoys spending time with his wife and three children, snowboarding in the winter, hiking in the summer, and playing basketball. A lifelong basketball enthusiast, he was the team captain of the 2005 Texas 5A State Championship basketball team and remains an avid player and fan.
