
Wes’s personal approach and remarkable ability to unite people and organizations of all types (individuals, governmental bodies, businesses, and community groups with diverse interests) has earned him a well-deserved collection of accolades. Honors include the Ethics in Business Award, presented by the Samaritan Center and Concordia University Texas; and appointment as the Chair of the Board of Regents for Texas Lutheran University, his beloved alma mater. Together with his wife, Karen, they have dedicated countless hours to raising funds for pediatric mental health care at the Dell Children’s Medical Center of Central Texas. And they helped to establish the Grace Grego Maxwell Mental Health Unit at Dell Children’s Medical Center.
