Wayne is President and Founder of WCF Development After growing up in San Angelo, Texas, Mr. Fox graduated with a B.S. Degree in Economics from WTSU in 1966 and received his Doctorate of Jurisprudence from the University of Houston Bates College of Law in 1970. He commenced his legal career as an associate with a major Houston law firm before co-founding the law firm of Bonham, Carrington, & Fox where he was the Managing Partner from its inception in 1971 until his departure in 1994 to enter the development business full time. Bonham, Carrington & Fox grew from its original three partners in 1971 to a firm of 43 attorneys and a total staff of 115 when Mr. Fox left in 1994. Mr. Fox's practice of law was concentrated in real estate and banking, representing both large and small financial institutions and developers. Mr. Fox has been involved in all aspects of the development and financing world and co-founded West Loop Savings and Loan in 1985 with an initial capitalization of $3,000,000. He served as Chairman of the Board from its inception until its sale to Charter Bancshares in 1993 when it had total assets of $265,000,000. Mr. Fox also served as a member of the Board, Executive Committee and Loan Committee of the Standard Bank of Texas and Banc Texas Allen Parkway. Mr. Fox's civic and professional involvements include membership on Mayor Bob Lanier's transition team; the Zoning Strategies Committee of the City of Houston; Commissioner on the Houston Planning Commission 1990 through 1996; Founder Episcopal High School, Episcopal High School Development Board and Finance Committee member; University of Texas Medical School Development Board; Life Member Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo; Life Member of The 100 Club; State Bar of Texas; Houston and American Bar Associations; United States Supreme Court; Fellow of the Houston Bar Foundation; Patron of the Museum of Fine Arts; Chevalier des Tastevin; Allegro; River Oaks Country Club; Texas and Southwest Cattleman's Association; Kappa Alpha Order Social Fraternity; Phi Alpha Delta Legal Fraternity; St. John the Divine Episcopal Church.
