Walter Baird

Walter joined the company in March of 2024 and brings over six years of commercial real estate experience to the team. His responsibilities include general property management, third-party leasing services, construction management, and deal due diligence for prospective commercial real estate investments. Prior to CPI, Walter worked for the Land, Development and Industrial group at Avison Young in Austin, TX, supporting his team in over $200M in transactions during his tenure there. Walter started his career with HPI on the industrial agency team, servicing a portfolio of ±18M SF in the Central Texas and San Antonio markets, where he gained valuable experience representing local and institutional landlords. Walter received his bachelor’s degree from the Rawls College of Business at Texas Tech University.
