Walker Reich

As an Associate Broker for Retail Specialists, Walker provides real estate strategy and portfolio management to a diverse client base, working closely with the Brokerage team to bring new retail and restaurant tenants to key developments. Walker partners with several REITs on both the leasing and disposition sides of their business, with a focus on single-tenant net lease properties and shopping centers. On the leasing side, he works to keep shopping center properties fully leased with strong, complementary tenant mixes, while on the disposition side, he guides REITs through the sale of single-tenant net lease assets and other non-core properties to optimize their overall portfolio strategy. In addition to his REIT relationships, Walker provides tenant representation for multiple national retailers, helping them identify, evaluate, and secure sites that align with their growth and market expansion strategies. This work gives him a well-rounded perspective on both sides of the transaction table — representing landlord and tenant interests alike. Walker also collaborates closely with the Development team, spearheading initiatives to identify and acquire prime real estate for ground-up developments tailored to retail tenants. He evaluates single-tenant and multi-tenant properties for acquisition by the company, drawing on his broad experience across leasing, dispositions, and tenant representation to inform sound investment decisions. Walker is a licensed real estate broker in his resident state of Alabama, as well as Florida, Georgia, Louisiana, Mississippi, and Tennessee, allowing him to serve clients with real estate needs throughout the Southeast.
