W. Derrell Curry
Since joining Savills in 2003, Derrell Curry has proudly represented some of the region’s largest tenants throughout their commercial real estate pursuits, providing expert consulting and strategic planning, and unparalleled negotiation. For over 35 years, he has successfully coordinated complex real estate transactions such as acquisitions, dispositions, financial structuring, incentives negotiations, operations analysis, and lease negotiations. Derrell also specializes in a diverse range of industries, including engineering, energy, petrochemical, financial services, aerospace, consulting, biomedical, municipalities, and nonprofit associations. In 2013, Derrell and his team of experts completed two of the largest transactions in Houston, including Bechtel’s 556,000 square foot lease and Statoil’s 581,000 square foot lease. Throughout his impressive career as a top broker in Houston, Derrell has accumulated more than 35 million square feet in real estate transactions. All the while, Derrell is best known for his keen analytical abilities that allow companies to lift their bottom line while maintaining maximum flexibility and optimal workplace logistics. Prior to Savills, Derrell spent 19 years with CB Richard Ellis (CBRE) where he was senior vice president of Corporate Services.
