Tom started a general insurance and real estate practice began in 1971. CARROLL AND CO. opened an Independent Property-Casualty Insurance Agency and Property Management Company after several years in the Insurance Underwriting and Marketing areas of the Business and simultaneously began limited Investment and commercial real estate sales. In 1973, Tom’s plan began to take shape when he established and operated a property management division of CARROLL AND CO (Commercial-Industrial). Tom believes that their clients deserved a skillful and personal touch that went beyond property management and included full Insurance Services, Development Consulting and General Business Consulting and listening to client concerns, offering recommendations, acting quickly to resolve issues, and providing the highest level of customer service. Tom’s hands-on leadership has resulted in the company's steady growth throughout the 1970’s, 1980's, 1990's and into the 21st Century, inspiring the highest standards of Excellence and professionalism with dedicated customer service as a key element of communication. The preservation of the investment portfolio and increased values are achieved with quality tenants, innovative services, and cutting-edge business philosophy. Business and Development Consulting started in 1976 with several successful and completed developments delivered fully leased or ready for owner occupancy. Additional Business Consulting led to managing Assets and properties under receiverships and bankruptcy is to a plan of reorganization or liquidation.
