Todd McGinley is a performance-oriented sales professional who has been an Associate in the Industrial Leasing and Brokerage Division of Welsh for thirteen years. Todd understands the needs and concerns of both building owners and tenants. In his position, Todd is responsible for leasing a portfolio of approximately 800,000 square feet of space on a local and national level. This aggressive marketer has built strong relationships with individual as well as institutional owners, including T. Rowe Price, American Industrial Properties, Glenbough Realty Trust, AMB Property Corporation, Northland Properties of Burnsville, LLP and K&H Holdings. Todd focuses primarily on sales and leasing office/warehouse and office/showroom space throughout the Twin Cities suburban and downtown markets. By actively canvassing the markets and taking advantage of Welsh’s database of properties and tenants, Todd effectively matches properties with the specific requirements of prospective tenants. Along the way, Todd never loses sight of the Owner’s point-of-view. He understands that an unoccupied building, even for a short period of time, can be financially harmful. Recently, one of Todd’s clients had three tenants move out of 112,000 square feet space, offering minimal advance notice. Thanks to Todd’s responsiveness and diligence, the space was entirely leased within 60 days. Sparta Foods utilized Todd’s expertise in disposing of a 50,000 square foot property they acquired in the process of acquiring the occupying tenant’s business. Through a 10-year lease with an option to buy, Todd was able to achieve the client’s business and financial goals. Todd has a Bachelor of Arts in Marketing and stays actively involved in the Minnesota Commercial Association of Realtors (MNCAR)
