Licensed real estate broker in Kitsap County since 2003. I co-own and co-manage Martin Real Estate Group with my wife Marcie — the independent boutique brokerage we opened in Port Orchard in 2021. I serve as Designated Broker. I'm a combat veteran: Army National Guard in Operation Desert Storm, then the U.S. Navy aboard the USS Nimitz. Martin Real Estate Group is veteran-owned. Before real estate I ran automotive dealership sales teams and owned an insurance agency. I still buy, renovate, and resell homes locally, so I can tell you what a property actually needs — and what it'll cost — before you write the offer. I'll also slow down and translate the jargon. Contingency, escalation addendum, title commitment — you should understand every page you sign, not just trust that it's fine. Marcie and I split the work on purpose: I handle contracts, compliance, and property condition; she handles the people and the pace. Serving Port Orchard, Bremerton, Silverdale, Poulsbo, Bainbridge Island, Gig Harbor, and the greater Kitsap and Olympic Peninsulas. We live in South Kitsap, raised five kids here, and have three grandsons nearby.
