Mr. Snodgrass leads Argus Realty’s growth in the 1031 replacement property market for investors seeking current income, asset diversification and deferrals of capital gains tax liabilities. He is a co-founder and current president of the Tenant-In-Common Association, the only professional organization for the TIC industry. TICA was created to develop a formal code of ethics and act as a central voice with regulatory and governmental organizations for the emerging industry. “Tim has emerged as a nationally recognized authority on Internal Revenue Code Section 1031 Investment Property Exchange market,” says Richard Gee, chairman and chief executive officer of Argus Realty. Prior to joining ARI, Mr. Snodgrass was the Director of National Accounts for Investment Property Exchange Services, Inc. (IPX1031), one of the most respected Qualified Intermediary companies in the industry. During his tenure, IPX1031 processed over 8,000 new exchanges per year at a transaction value of more than $10 billion. Mr Snodgrass received a Bachelor of Arts Degree from San Diego State University, a Juris Doctorate from Thomas Jefferson School of Law, and holds Series 22 and 63 securities licenses.
