She was born in Seoul, South Korea and studied business administration in Tokyo, Japan. She began her career in real estate as a real estate broker assistant in New York City. Tia left New York City to live in Southern Germany for 3 years due to her husband's active duty orders. They fell in love with the climate and luscious green forests in Germany; they were ebullient when her husband received active duty orders for Fort Lewis, WA. Since her husband has left the military, they’ve made Washington state their home. They love camping in the gorgeous parks in Washington state.
