Thomas Spilsbury

Tom Spilsbury has been in the commercial brokerage business since 1980 as a full-service Industrial/R&D Leasing, residential and commercial land sales and development in Silicon Valley. Prior to joining Meacham/Oppenheimer, Inc., Tom was in the “Top Five” for the years 2009, 2008, 2007, 2006, 2005 and 2004 with Grubb & Ellis Company. Prior to joining Grubb & Ellis, Tom was a partner at BT Commercial for 23 years, specializing in negotiating the sale and leasing of commercial properties and land sales to developers. During that period of time, Tom was the third largest gross sales performer; he was at the forefront of sales of land to residential developers, especially in the industrial to residential changes of General Plan and Zoning. Tom’s background also included residential sales from 1976 to 1980. Tom has obtained Broker of the Year at BT Commercial many times and always was in the Top 5 at BT Commercial. Tom also owns and manages several of his own properties and manages up to 35 tenants.
