Thomas Poss

Tom is broker of record for Verdant Realty Group and serves as chairman of the board for The Verdant Companies. Tom focuses on residential, commercial and land brokerage as well as business development. Across 52 years of extensive experience and more than 8,000 transactions, Tom has developed unparalleled knowledge in residential, agricultural, and commercial real estate, as well as land development, building and real estate investing. He is a leader in the local real estate industry and is truly committed to helping his clients reach their goals. In 1971, Tom opened Century 21 Monocacy Valley Realty, which grew into one of Frederick County’s leading firms with 105 agents. Long & Foster purchased Monocacy Valley Realty in the early 1990’s. Most recently, he formed the Poss Group. In 2006, The Poss Group was ranked the 31st highest producing team in the U.S. with transactions totaling over $94M. Tom currently resides in Braddock Heights with his wife, Beverly. Tom is a proud father of four children.
