Thomas Estus

Tom Estus, President of Shelby/Estus Realty Group, Inc., has been actively involved in the Houston commercial retail real estate market since 1983. He specializes in the development, sale and leasing of commercial retail properties and tenant representation. Estus has gained extensive knowledge of the critical issues within the framework of successful development as well as an excellent understanding of the budgeting of development hard and soft costs and how important these projections are to a successful development. He has been actively involved in Build-to-Suit projects for national retailers as well as the negotiation of long-term ground leases on which developments are constructed. Tom began his real estate career with the Henry S. Miller Company and joined Wulfe & Co. at its inception. He graduated from Baylor University in 1980 and was a member of the Baylor varsity tennis team. Estus is a member of the International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC) and is a Texas licensed real estate broker. Tom and his wife, Ann, have been married since graduating from Baylor in 1980 and have two grown children, Ben and Robin.
