Theron May

Theron joined Imperial in 2007 and today serves as Vice President & Director of Brokerage responsible for managing and growing transactional services (leasing, receiverships & investment sales) with a team of 12 who specialize in retail, office, industrial, multifamily and land services. Recipient of CoStar Power Broker Award in 2020, 2021, 2022, 2023, 2024 for retail and office, he credits his success to a deep understanding of construction, legal and market knowledge. Prior to his current role Theron rotated through Imperial’s property management, construction and administrative departments learning the industry. Theron graduated from Marquette University with a double Major in Real Estate and Entrepreneurship. At Marquette, Theron founded the Real Estate Club growing it into the largest student organization on campus with notable memories meeting Sam Zell at his Chicago headquarters just after the sale of EQ Office to Blackstone for $36B which was the largest leveraged buyout in history at the time along with touring the under construction 92-story Trump Tower in Chicago which was the tallest concrete building at the time. Theron lives in Chicago and is married with two children.
