Ted Barnes
Ted S. Barnes is a partner with Argus Development Group. Mr. Barnes has been active in commercial real estate since 1984 in both a retail and development capacity throughout the Mid-Atlantic and Southeast. Prior to joining Argus, he served as Vice President of Real Estate for Harris Teeter, Inc., and as President of HT Properties, LLC, the company’s real estate development division. Mr. Barnes also served on the company’s Board of Directors. During his 25-year career, which includes positions at Eckerd, Food Lion and McMahan-Carver Properties, he has been involved in the leasing and development of more than 5,000,000 square feet of space. This combination of strong development and retail background allows him a unique perspective on the needs of both the owners and tenants. Mr. Barnes is a licensed real estate broker in both North and South Carolina.
