Tawnya McVicker
Since joining the @properties team in 2004, Tawnya McVicker has quickly distinguished herself both within the industry and with her clients. An Accredited Buyers Representative (ABR), Tawnya received @properties’ Rookie of the Year award in 2004 for exceeding $5 million in sales volume. Since then she has grown her experience to include the successful sale of all types of properties from condos to single-family homes. She also has developed a vast working knowledge of the entire Chicagoland market by representing clients from the South Side to the North Shore suburbs, and all neighborhoods in between. “Investing in or divesting property is a major milestone in a person’s life,” she says. “It’s my No. 1 objective to provide professional client service, insightful information and savvy negotiation at the right time so that my clients can experience Chicago as I’ve experienced it: as a great place to live and as a great investment.” Tawnya currently lives with her husband in Bronzeville on the South Side, a neighborhood she feels is one of Chicago’s up-and-coming gems. “But it won’t be a secret for long,” she says. “With our easy access to the lakefront, the expressway, skyline views and front-row seats for the Cellular Field fireworks, we’re finding that we have more and more residential and retail neighbors every day."
