With over two decades of experience in construction, real estate, and investment, Tashanna brings a strategic and results-driven approach to every transaction. Born and raised on Kaua'i, she later moved to Hawai'i Island, where she completed her degree in Accounting at the University of Hawai'i at Hilo and went on to earn a Bachelor's degree in Business Management from Capella University, all while raising a family. Since 2004, she has operated as a construction company owner, real estate agent, and investor, allowing her to understand the full spectrum of property development, leasing, and acquisitions. Her background also includes extensive government experience, having served as an accountant for the Department of Environmental Management and Real Property Tax, as well as an appraiser for the Department of Real Property Tax. She also served as the Executive Director of the Hawai'i Island Contractors Association, where she supported members through legislative advocacy, industry programs, and community initiatives. As a Collection Supervisor, she handled complex tax sale surplus claims, reviewing title and legal documents in a quasi-corporation counsel capacity to ensure rightful entitlement. Additionally, her experience as a former ranch owner gives her a deep understanding of land use, development, and property management. Beyond her technical expertise, Tashanna is passionate about helping people find the right fit—whether it's the perfect property, the right business opportunity, or the connections they need to move forward. She thrives on building strong relationships, problem-solving, and making the process as smooth as possible. Her hands-on, solutions-focused approach allows her to navigate challenges, advocate for her clients, and structure deals that align with their long-term goals. Tashanna lives in Kona with her husband, Matt, a boat captain out of Honokohau Harbor, and their two dogs. She is currently a candidate pursuing the CCIM designation.
