Steven Podolsky

Steven is a veteran with over 50 years of industry experience, and is very active in many professional organizations. He is a sought-after speaker and teacher and has lent his expertise to many professional organizations and universities around the globe. Based on the success he has enjoyed in his real estate career, and in his professional and community activities for over five decades, Steve was elected in 2010 to the inaugural class of the Midwest Commercial Real Estate Hall of Fame. Steve has been a recipient of both national and international awards from SIOR, CORFAC, and FIABCI, including awards for the largest individual transaction, largest number of transactions in a given year, and the most creative transaction. Steve has been awarded the Distinguished Service Howell Watson Award from SIOR and an Honorary Membership from AIRE for long-term, meritorious service. He has also been named SIOR Instructor of the Year. Additionally, Steve has received the prestigious Medal of Honor from both FIABCI International and FIABCI-USA for his dedicated service to the organization, and the Charles B. King Award from CORFAC International for his devoted and exceptional service to the organization. In 2015, the Chicago Chapter of SIOR awarded Steve with the prestigious Richard G. Levy President’s Award. Richard was a longtime partner and close friend of Steve’s for 30 years. Steve has been a recipient of the Award for Excellence from the Illinois Real Estate Journal and has been recognized by Real Estate Forum Magazine and CoStar National Listing Service as a top 25 broker nationally and in the Chicago metro area, respectively. In 2016, in recognition of his contributions in helping CORFAC International to grow globally, CORFAC created the Steven H. Podolsky International Member of the Year Award.
