Steve joined J&B Building Company in April 2002, after 18 years in the commercial banking industry in areas of real estate finance, construction lending and debt restructuring. His B.S. Accounting degree from Colorado State University (1984), coursework towards an MBA in Finance at University of Colorado Denver (1986-7), and his CCIM designation in 2014 provide the background for his experience directing the property management, brokerage, treasury management, investments and syndications, and construction management activities of the firm. Steve holds an active Colorado Real Estate Broker’s license and is the Employing Broker for J&B. On weekends you can find Steve fly fishing a high country trout stream, spraying golf balls haphazardly around the links or skiing his favorite powder run, depending on the season. Additionally, Steve serves on the board of his local religious institution and is committed to a variety of charitable organizations including The Sharing Foundation (Cambodian orphanages and schools) and Jewish Family Service.
