Steve Leathers

As Senior Managing Director, Steve provides national leadership for Transwestern’s Healthcare Capital Markets advisory. Applying more than 15 years of expertise in investment sales, portfolio sales, equity capitalizations and debt placement, he partners across the Transwestern companies to oversee and guide dedicated capital markets solutions focused on the healthcare sector. Before joining Transwestern, Steve was part of JLLs healthcare real estate capital markets team in New York, where he specialized in providing capital markets solutions for medical office buildings, inpatient rehabilitation hospitals, acute care hospitals, and other post-acute properties. Throughout his career, Steve has advised private and institutional owners, including public REITs, private equity, developers and healthcare providers on assignments with an aggregate value of over $5.6 billion. He has also held positions at investment management firms Vanbarton Group, LLC, ARC Healthcare Trust, and Grubb & Ellis Realty Investors, which sponsored investment vehicles that acquired and managed healthcare properties.
