Steven Hoyt, founder of Hoyt Properties, Inc., has been responsible for over $500 million in transaction value during his career. Over the past thirty years, Hoyt Properties, Inc. has developed and acquired over 6,000,000 square feet of commercial space primarily in the Twin Cities. In 1994, Hoyt Properties, Inc. contributed approximately $100 million in properties as a founder of First Industrial Realty Trust (NYSE-FR) in connection with its IPO. Steve remains a shareholder of the nation's largest industrial REIT. Steve continued his REIT investment by contributing a substantial portfolio to Investors Real Estate Trust (NASDAQ-IRETS). He sits on the Board of this one billion dollar company, as Hoyt Properties, Inc. continues to manage a one million square foot portfolio for IRET.
