Steve Houchens serves as Vice President of Acquisitions and Commercial Business Development for The Caton Companies and Management Services Corporation (MSC), where he leads commercial growth initiatives, real estate acquisitions, and strategic development opportunities across the company's diverse portfolio. In this role, Steve focuses on identifying investment opportunities, cultivating business relationships, and advancing the organization's long-term real estate and development objectives. With more than two decades of experience in real estate, property management, land development, and commercial operations, Steve has built a strong reputation for creating value through strategic planning, market insight, and relationship-driven business development. Prior to his current position, he served in development and management roles within MSC and held leadership positions in land development and property operations throughout Virginia and the Southeast. Steve's expertise spans acquisitions, commercial real estate, development planning, asset management, marketing, and operational leadership. His broad background allows him to successfully bridge the disciplines of development, investment, and property management while supporting the continued growth of The Caton Companies and MSC. A graduate of Virginia Commonwealth University, Steve remains actively involved in the Virginia real estate community and is committed to fostering partnerships that create lasting value for residents, businesses, and communities.
