Sion Misrahi

Sion Misrahi is the founder and owner of Misrahi Realty. Sion began establishing deep roots in the Lower East Side (where Misrahi Realty is currently located) in 1956 and has spent his entire life both living and working there. As a boy, he worked side by side with his father in the garment industry on Orchard Street. However, when the Garmentos moved north, Sion stayed put in his beloved neighborhood. When his visions of creating a better and brighter future for his home and community were put into action, Misrahi Realty was born. In 1994, Sion opened Misrahi Realty in hopes of promoting development throughout the Lower East Side. Through his endeavors he successfully filled several vacant store fronts and subsequently brought art and culture to his community. Sion is a savvy deal maker who possesses a vision for economic development and growth and has truly transformed the Lower East Side. He is also founder and 1st President of the Business Improvement District. Misrahi Realty was the first brokerage firm located in the Lower East Side. From its early days to now, Misrahi Realty has grown to become a team of Real Estate professionals who are knowledgeable, driven and determined to give exceptional service to their clients. In addition, its focus is community based and, through their exemplary and ethical approach to real estate, the Misrahi Team has a positive influence throughout New York City.
