Simon Kroos
Simon Kroos is an Associate in the Columbus office of commercial real estate services firm, Newmark. A licensed real estate broker in the state of Ohio, Mr. Kroos works closely with Terry Coyne and Derek Lichtfuss. As part of the Coyne/Lichtfuss Team, he enhances the team’s ability to provide for its clients in the Central Ohio region. Upon joining Newmark in the summer of 2021, he has specialized in industrial and land properties and the collection of data and analytics to inform the team’s advisory services. Prior to joining Newmark, Mr. Kroos served as an OnRamp Program participant for Honda R&D Americas through The Ohio State University Entrepreneurial School. While there, he worked in one of six participating small groups to generate a visionary idea for Honda to implement innovation. This included employing a market research program on digital community outreach for a data-driven pitch for a prototype application focused on improving Honda’s virtual network. Mr. Kroos’ entrepreneurial spirit led to his co-founding a Columbus-based fashion company, and his athletic and philanthropic interests converged to foster the growth of the Sherwood Yards Wiffle Ball World Series. As a co-founder, he helped raise $10,000 for the Make-A-Wish foundation over an eight-year period. Mr. Kroos attended the University of Dayton and graduated from The Ohio State University, where he earned a degree in Sports Management.
