Shiv Sairaman
Shiv is a Portfolio Manager at GM Asset Management (General Motors' pension fund) in the Private Equity & Real Estate investment team. He has been involved in executing the Real Estate portfolio strategy including new investments, asset management (leasing, refinancing), and strategic sale of assets in US and Canada. Prior to this, Shiv was a Portfolio Manager with the Investment Strategy team, where he worked on several strategy projects including developing the end-state portfolio of the pension fund, annual GM Board review of pensions, corporate funding and de-risking initiatives, and other strategic special projects. In the past, Shiv was part of GM Treasury, Corporate FP&A, and Corporate Development and M&A teams within the General Motors finance organization. Previously, Shiv was a management consultant with KPMG and has worked on various strategy, bid advisory, and process improvement projects across several industries: utilities, renewables, infrastructure, ship building, education, etc.
