Sherry Schluessel
With nearly 30 years in real estate, Sherry applies her extensive industry knowledge, expertise, and insights to drive and maintain ProCura’s impressive growth. She provides mentorship and coaching for the company’s strategic planning, sales and marketing, partner relations, and business development. Believing strongly in renewal and reinvestment in urban neighbourhoods, Sherry’s leadership enabled the completion of signature projects, such as Mayfair Village South, one of Edmonton’s largest attainable housing developments, and the redevelopment of the Intact Insurance Building, which received the BOMA BEST® Gold and LEED® Gold – Core & Shell certifications. In 2014, Sherry founded Signs of Change, a charitable initiative advocating partnerships between businesses, communities, and not-for-profit organizations. To date, Signs of Change has raised over $400,000 for youth-focused charities. Sherry was recognized as one of Canada’s Top 100 Most Powerful Women by the Women’s Executive Network. In addition to this Sherry has also recently been nominated for the prestigious EY Entrepreneur of the Year Award for 2018.
