Sheldon Johnson

After graduating from the University of Missouri-Columbia with a BSBA degree in Accounting, Sheldon joined Johnson Group in February 1983 and was promoted to Vice President in 1987. With 36 years of experience in sales and leasing of office, industrial, land, self-storage and investment properties, Sheldon has participated in transactions cumulatively valued at over $1.0 billion and totaling over 4.0 million square feet of space. In 1992 Sheldon was awarded the SIOR (Society of Industrial and Office Realtors) designation, and in 1996 Sheldon was awarded the CCIM (Certified Commercial Investment Manager) designation – both very sought after and prestigious designations in the field of real estate. Sheldon was the 1998 President of the St. Louis Chapter of SIOR and has served in the past as Vice President, Treasurer, and co-chair of the St. Louis SIOR Metro Market Forecast. Sheldon currently serves as a trustee on the SIOR Educational Foundation and has served as chairman of the Audit Committee and member of the Finance Committee for SIOR nationally. In 1999 he was awarded the prestigious SIOR Broker of the Year award. Sheldon is also a past-President of the Commercial Board of the St. Louis Association of Realtors and is a member of the Missouri Growth Association board. Sheldon has also been trained by the National Association of Realtors as a mediator for commercial real estate disputes.
