Meet Shelby Miller, our Director of Commercial Real Estate. With a background in marketing, social media, and event planning, Shelby brings a relationship-driven approach to commercial real estate. As a licenses real estate professional with Landmark Companies, she works closely with small businesses, growing companies, property owners, developers, and community leaders to connect people with opportunities throughout Central Iowa. Shelby understands that real estate decisions can play a major role in the success and growth of a business, and she takes the time to understand each client’s goals, challenges, and long-term vision. Whether helping a business find its first location, expand into a new market, or explore future opportunities, Shelby strives to be a trusted resource and long-term partner–not simply a broker involved in a single transaction. At the center of Shelby’s approach is the belief that commercial real estate is built on relationships and trusted networks. She is intentional about developing genuine connections with business owners, brokers, developers, economic development professionals, and community leaders throughout the market. By staying actively involved and connected, she is able to bring people, businesses, properties, and opportunities together–often well before a traditional real estate need reaches the market. Shelby plays a key role in Landmark’s commercial real estate and business development efforts, including prospecting, lead generation, property and development marketing, tenant outreach, and relationship building. Her marketing background provides an additional advantage in positioning properties, identifying potential users, and creating meaningful connections between businesses and Landmark’s growing portfolio of developments and listings. Her commitment to the industry and community extends beyond Landmark. Shelby is actively involved with CREW Iowa, The Iowa Commercial Real Estate Association (ICREA), the Dallas County Planning & Zoning Commission, the Dallas County Steering Committee, and the Urbandale Chamber, where she serves as a committee co-chair. She is also involved with the Waukee and West Des Moines Chambers of Commerce, strengthening her connection to the businesses and communities driving growth across the Des Moines metro and Dallas County. A graduate of The University of Iowa with a degree in Marketing, Shelby combines her commercial real estate experience, marketing expertise, community involvement, and trusted network to help clients navigate opportunities with confidence while building relationships that extend well beyond the transaction.
