Scott Morse
Responsible for land and building acquisitions, development, leasing, and dispositions in Southern California and West Coast Region
Scott joined Hillwood’s West Coast team in 2015. He leads the acquisition, leasing, dispositions, and marketing efforts for the firm’s expanding industrial business in Southern California. He oversees all facets of the acquisition process, including contract negotiations, underwriting, and closing of real estate transactions. Scott has more than a decade of experience in managing acquisitions and dispositions, totaling over $5B. Before joining Hillwood, Scott served as Vice President of Transactions at Bentall Kennedy, where he oversaw the company’s acquisitions in the Southern California region covering Los Angeles, the Inland Empire, Orange County, and San Diego. Scott worked for ten years in the Los Angeles and Boston offices of CBRE Global Investors. Scott began his career as an appraiser in the valuation department of CBRE in Los Angeles. Scott holds a bachelor’s degree in international relations from the University of Southern California and a Master of Business Administration with a concentration in finance from Syracuse University. Scott is a licensed California Real Estate Broker and is a member of the Urban Land Institute’s Young Leadership program and NAIOP.
