Scott M. Lewis joined Newmark Knight Frank in 2015 as an associate director in the firm's Houston office, where he specializes in tenant representation including lease negotiations, renewals, expansions and relocations. Mr. Lewis also assists his clients in the strategic planning of corporate real estate portfolios, mergers and acquisitions, and cost reduction analyses. Prior to joining Newmark Knight Frank, Mr. Lewis worked in private equity as an associate and in sales and marketing in the oil and gas industry. Mr. Lewis also owned and operated a full service shipping and print business. In this role, he managed several employees, negotiated vendor and lease agreements, handled payroll and accounting and effectively marketed the business, increasing existing revenues more than 80% over a three-year period. In addition, Mr. Lewis worked in Mexico City directly with the president and chairman of the largest security and money transport company in Latin America.
