Scott Lake brings his clients exactly what he values most: integrity, a strong work ethic, high energy, creativity and passion for real estate. These values, along with his longstanding knowledge of the Dallas real estate market, have earned him lasting relationships with owners and developers within the industry. Scott grew up in real estate, working with his father and watching Jim Lake Companies develop from the ground-up by their unique repurposing of underutilized buildings. At Jim Lake Companies, he learned the brokerage side of the business and was exposed to marketing and property management, providing him a well-rounded understanding of commercial real estate. Adaptive urban redevelopment in re-emerging markets like West Dallas, The Cedars and The Design District is one of Scott’s greatest passions. From 2011 to 2015, Scott worked at Venture Commercial, focusing on transactions in the urban core. He played a strong advocacy role and has helped spark growth in the southern sector by working with the City of Dallas to subsidize key transactions such as: The Ambassador Hotel & Gulf Cone Building sales in The Cedars, Trammell Crow Residential land sale on Levee St. in the Design District, and multiple land sales in West Dallas along Ft. Worth Ave, which helped to activate the areas planned development district. Scott joined his friends and former co-workers David Davidson and Edward Bogel in 2016 to head up Davidson Bogel’s Urban Land Division.
