
Scott Herr is the Division President for the Charlotte Division of Pulte Homes, where he oversees operations, land strategy, and community development across the Charlotte market. In this role, he is responsible for driving growth through strategic land acquisition, entitlement, development, and execution of residential communities. Prior to joining Pulte Homes, Mr. Herr served as Vice President of Land at M/I Homes in Charlotte, North Carolina. There, he managed site acquisition, land entitlement, design, and land development activities for a homebuilding division operating in more than 20 neighborhoods and delivering approximately 600 homes annually. His earlier professional experience includes leading infill redevelopment projects in Charlotte’s South End submarket, directing the disposition of distressed real estate assets held by regional banks during the financial crisis, and overseeing the acquisition of single-tenant and multi-tenant industrial properties for a New York-based hedge fund. Mr. Herr began his real estate career as a Land Acquisition Manager with Centex Homes. Mr. Herr earned his bachelor’s degree from Davidson College and holds a Master of Business Administration from the Kenan-Flagler Business School at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
