Scott began his career with 12 years in real estate consulting and finance within the mortgage industry, where he developed a deep understanding of property valuation, investment strategies, and financing structures. This expertise enables him to help investors identify opportunities that align with their financial goals and assist tenants and owners in structuring leases and purchases that maximize long-term value. He then spent nine years as a Commercial Accounts Representative in the title industry, collaborating closely with developers, business owners, and investors on complex commercial transactions. This experience gave Scott a strong command of due diligence, title solutions, and risk mitigation strategies — critical skills that help his clients navigate the often-challenging legal and financial aspects of commercial real estate deals with confidence. Scott also brings hands-on brokerage experience from his two years with Grubb & Ellis Commercial Real Estate in the Portland Metro area, where he successfully represented landlords, tenants, and investors in both leasing and investment sales. His understanding of diverse property types and market dynamics allows him to provide clients with strategic guidance that drives growth and profitability. A graduate of Linfield College with a B.A. in Business Administration, Scott was a proud member of the Wildcats football program during the school’s 1982 and 1984 National Championship era.
