Samuel M. Ding

Mr. Samuel Ding oversees the creative direction, key aspects of design and construction of all Capella-managed hotels. Since joining Capella Hotel Group in 2008, he was keenly involved in the successful opening of the flagship Capella Singapore in 2009. Under his unstinting leadership and commitment to design excellence, he continues to play key roles in the development and expansion of the group’s luxury hotel portfolio. Previously, in his 20-year architectural career, Mr. Ding was a member of the American Institute of Architects (AIA) and has held prominent roles in design directorship and senior positions at the RTKL and SRSS in USA and Singapore. His projects spanned the regions of North and South America, the Middle East and Asia, garnering awards from FIABCI Prix d’Excellence and URA Architectural Heritage Award Singapore.
