
Associate Broker Ruth Ludwig Lind brings a diverse background and rich skill set to Tranzon. She has held positions of responsibility and management in the fields of journalism, corporate communications, aviation, real estate development, and auctioneering and appraisal services. Prior to entering the field of Auctioneering, Ruth owned and operated OTR Properties, LLC, a Coastal Maine real estate development company which specialized in historical renovations and developing coastal properties to the highest and best use status. She worked extensively with local governments and boards on land use planning issues and permitting activities, and hired and supervised construction, engineering, earth works, and infrastructure subcontractors. OTR developed neighborhoods in underused segments of in-town property, and rehabilitated historical inns and commercial buildings. As a Benefit Auctioneer Specialist, she works extensively with schools, museums, animal welfare and conservation groups to enable them to continue their great works as a result of planning and producing profitable fundraising events. Ruth is an active member of the National Auctioneers Association, and currently serves as President of the Maine Auctioneers Association. She holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Modern Languages from the University of Maine and is a licensed Real Estate Associate Broker and Auctioneer in Maine.
