Born in Galveston. Family moved to Knoxville. Grew up in Knoxville, attended Webb Prepatory School. Moved to Dallas and attended Hillcrest High School. Went to the University of Texas and graduated with BBA in Finance. Shipper worked for Beer-Litwin and Company after college and learned the real estate business working with Martin Litwin, Bob Beer, Steve Lampenstein and other experienced real estate professionals.
