
Roger Young serves as Executive Vice President of Hospitality forLevel Hospitality, LLC. Within his role he develops and implements critical hotel acquisition to include operating strategies while he oversees technical, operational and quality related functions. Mr. Young drives initiatives to enhance the profitability of all of Level Hospitality properties. He is directly responsible for nearly 200 associates and for operating budgets in excess of $25 million. Mr. Young’s management philosophy is summed up by his unique twists to two common business principles: First, work hard and work smart, and second, think and act outside the box. His leadership style is rooted in entrepreneurialism and empowerment and has contributed greatly to the hotel industry creating organizations of innovators, not imitators. An alumnus of Vincennes University in Indiana, Mr. Young brings with him over 30years of experience in successful hotel operations. He has worked with Four Seasons, Hilton, IHG, BestWesternHotel, Choice Hotels, IndependentLuxury Boutique,Buena Vista and Ponte Vedra resorts serving at various Hotel leadership roles within Engineering, Front Office, Housekeeping and F&B as a foundation to opportunities for General Manager, Vice President Positions held. Prior to joining Level Hospitality, Mr. Young has served as a board member for Illinois Hotel Lodging Association Educational Foundation and Chicago River North Association. He has also been involved with student lectures for various local hospitality schools such as Roosevelt University, Culinary Art Institute, KendallCollege and Purdue University.
