Roby Redwine

A 1981 graduate of Clarke Central High School and a 1985 graduate of the University of Georgia (BA Economics), Roby Redwine has lived in the Athens/Oconee area for over 60 years. Roby has been an active and involved member of the Athens/Oconee community. He has raised his family here, sent four children to the local schools, and has volunteered with many different area organizations at times along the way. These include Oconee County Little League (past coach), former alumni advisor and board member for the Kappa Alpha Fraternity at UGA, 2013 member of the school level SACS committee at Oconee County High School, and past volunteer with the Northeast Georgia Food Bank, Adopt-a-Mile, Sack Lunch Ministries at AFUMC, Salvation Army and Habitat for Humanity. Roby is a lifelong member of Athens First United Methodist Church. Having spent the last 18 years building a successful commercial real estate business, Roby continues to develop lasting relationships with the clients he serves at Coldwell Banker Upchurch Realty. Closing over $42 million in commercial transactions from 2019-2025, Roby was honored to receive the Athens Area Association of Realtor’s Circle of Honor awarded for his 2022 commercial sales. He is a member of the National Association of Realtors, the Georgia Association of Realtors, the Athens Area Association of Realtors, and served as past chair of the AAAR Commercial Land Forum.
